**First Appearance:** #book7 Alien race on [[Faalax]] that made the plates and are the rightful owners. In appearance they are small, squat, plum-colored, have four tiny eyes covered by dark goggles, a small mouth, and wrinkled skin. Each has 5 slender arms, three of which end in thin tentacles, probably ideal for fine, dexterous work. They remind Van of anthropomorphic raisins.
