**First Appearance:** #book5 Alien race that is somewhat broom-like. Imagine a fire hydrant covered in grayish-purple scales, sporting two rings of disturbing eyes, and from each of the protruding fittings where hoses would hook up there extended a mass of small wriggling tentacles. They look like a cross between some alien species from Doctor Who and one of H. P. Lovecraft's' ancient races of cosmic monstrosities.
