**First Appearance:** #book9 A massive farming orbital at [[Teegarden's Star]] revolves around a rocky planet called Faalax Opposing (shares an orbital path and period with [[Faalax]], on the opposite side of the system’s primary star). It’s a series of concentric rings about three klicks across. The central hub contains the essential systems, power plant, comms, crew hab, and other ancillary spaces, while each successive ring has a flat earth configuration, ie a flat ring set on edge so that one side points directly at the sun, and is enclosed in glass. There's a bigger concentric one, and another even bigger concentric one.
