Among the industries they have interests in are heavy industry, high-end electronics, bioscience, mining, shipping, consumer goods, fuel, etc. mostly handled through a web of subsidiaries, affiliates, partnerships, joint ventures, etc.  They employ [[The Sorcerers]], which we find out is more of a job title than a race/species.
